Stress Management
PDF Print E-mail

In today’s business world, more pressure is placed on organizations to perform successfully at all times. Globalization, new technologies and business restructuring are challenging long established patterns of work while imposing new burdens on employees and their life style. In this context, managing stress is becoming more relevant for organizations as the price of employing “burnout” employees is very high: diminished productivity, lost potential, rising cost of health care and increased churn are among the more obvious outcomes.

Executives interested in this course will learn how to deal with stress effectively; they will find out that external demands are not the cause of stress but how one chooses to handle them. They will walk out with tangible tools which will help them regulate their levels of stress, be productive at work and lead healthier life styles.

Modules include:

  • Understand the nature of stress
  • Learn how to recognise it
  • Take charge and take responsibility for managing one’s lifestyles to minimise the impact of stress
  • Getting the task accomplished
  • Managing time
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Coping skills and strategies
